The French Football Federation press office announced that U21 head coach Gerald Batikl will continue to work. The contract with the specialist has been extended until July 2027. Thus, the agreement will cover the 2027 European Championship qualifying cycle and the final stage of the tournament if the national team qualifies. Currently, Batikl is leading the youth team at Euro 2025, which is taking place in Slovakia.
