Former Fiorentina midfielder Nikolo Dzanyolo The Italian Federation has been fined €15,000 for the attack on Roma youth players while intoxicated.
The scandalous incident occurred in May of this year after the Fiorentina and Roma youth teams’ match in Florence. Dzanyolo burst into the Roma locker room, where he punched Mattia Almaviv in the neck and then roughly shoved Marco Litty. Roma provided a medical report to the Federation, according to which two victims were out of action for ten days. Dzanyolo himself pleaded guilty in full and issued a formal apology. The midfielder previously played for Roma from 2018 to 2023. The 26-year-old currently plays for Galatasaray, but last season he played in Italy on loan, first for Atalanta and then for Feritin.Source link
