Flamengo technical director Jose Boto confirmed that the club rejected the €25 million offer for 21-year-old defender Wesley. According to him, the Brazilian club plans to pay the player at least €30 million.
According to journalist Vienna CondigrandeZenit sent Wesley’s official request, but was rejected.
Other European clubs, including those from Italy, have shown interest in the footballer. However, after learning of Flamengo’s position, they did not send official offers, realizing that the Brazilians were not willing to let the player go for a lower fee.
