Zenit St. Petersburg center back Nuraly Alip was recognized as Kazakhstan’s Athlete of the Year by the Metaratings Top Awards, a national award established in the sports and business sectors. The hockey player also won the Nikita Mikhailis Award, who won the 2024 Gagarin Cup with Magnitogorsk Metallurg, and undefeated Ultimate Fighting Championship UFC hoop fighter Shavkat Rakhmonov. The Metaratings Top Awards have been held since 2024 to celebrate the best representatives of Kazakhstan’s sports and business communities.
