Valencia resumes construction of a new stadium.
The opening of the new Nou Mestalla stadium is scheduled for the summer of 2027. To implement this project, Valencia began collaborating with Fenwick Iribarren Architects, who designed three stadiums for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
The club also attracted the company FCC Construcción, which participated in the construction of major sports facilities such as the Wanda Metropolitano stadium (Atlético Madrid) and the Cornella-El Prat stadium (Espanyol).
FCC Construcción was also responsible for the renovation of the Santiago Bernabeu and the modernization of the training facilities of Barcelona and Real Madrid. It is this company that will participate in the construction of Nou Mestalla.
