Athletic midfielder Giovani Kenda became the youngest player in the club’s history to play in the derby against Benfica in the Portuguese championship.
The midfielder entered the field on December 29 at the age of 17 years and 8 months. Previously, the record belonged to the attacker Cristiano Ronaldowho played in 2002 at 17 years, 10 months and 2 days.
