Zaragoza, which plays in the Spanish second division, spent six months building a temporary stadium for 20,000 spectators.
This decision was necessary because the club’s original arena, La Romared, was chosen to host matches in the 2030 World Cup. Currently, Zaragoza Stadium is closed for reconstruction to increase its capacity from 33,608 spectators to 43,000.
A new temporary stadium for 20,000 spectators, called “Iberkha Estadios,” will host Zaragoza’s home matches over the next two seasons.
