Representative of the International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS) explained why RPL took 73rd place in the ranking of the strongest championships for 2024.
Our annual World Club Rankings are calculated from the results of all club competitions. Russian clubs do not participate in continental competitions and therefore cannot add points to these tournaments. Due to this situation, Russian clubs do not have good ratings.
IFFHS published a ranking of the strongest leagues in 2024 on Monday. Italian Serie A took first place, WORLD RPL located in 73rd position.
