Sevilla have reached an agreement in principle with Augsburg to sign the Swiss midfielder Rubén Vargas. The transfer, valued at three million euros plus bonuses, is almost complete and everything suggests that the player will be officially presented before next Monday. Vargas will sign a contract until June 2030. The winger fits perfectly into the Sevilla coach’s style Francisco Javier Garcia Pimienta wants to join the team.
This season, Vargas played 8 Bundesliga matches and 2 German Cup matches, in which he scored one goal. The Transfermarkt portal values the 26-year-old Swiss of Dominican origin at 7 million euros.
