When asked if he could be on the coaching bench, the specialist replied:
Maybe no, maybe yes. I haven’t made any decisions yet. How old is Claudio Ranieri? I’m following in his footsteps. He’s an example. He came to Roma and played his best. Or Mircea Lučescu, who still trains the team. No need to give up.
In one of his previous interviews, Semin praised the prospects of Russian Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Matvey Safonova.
