New footage has emerged online featuring Al-Nasr striker Cristiano Ronaldo from the Globe Soccer Awards in Dubai in December. A boy with a T-shirt, ball and pen approached the player sitting on the chair. The child was quickly spotted by security who rushed to try to stop him from approaching the Portuguese, but he motioned for the guard to move away and took the boy’s pen before signing his name on the ball and jersey. The child, who seemed a little nervous when he met the attacker, then started to run away without taking the pen with him. Ronaldo stopped him and handed him a pen, after which he ran back to his family.
The video went viral on social media and fans were impressed by the player’s actions.
