The Italian club Roma could be banning the construction of a new stadium in one of Rome’s regions.
According to the source, local residents and environmental activists are seeking permission to restart the project due to potential damage to the ecosystem. Opponents of the arena’s construction argue that 26 trees, which they hope will slow down excavation work, are located in a protected natural area, home to rare animal species, including birds and bats. The destruction of this natural complex could seriously damage the region’s biodiversity.
Earlier, the Roma Club unveiled its new home for the 2025/26 season.
