Head of the mini-football club “Norilsk Nickel” Oleg Andreyev commented on what happened during the Super League match against Sibiryak in Novosibirsk.
Earlier in his statement, the Norilsk team reported insults to a black player. Nandowho, not wanting to put up with what was happening on the podium, left the venue.
Last year, during one of the matches, Nando had already been racially insulted. We submitted all the documents on this matter. But then, as far as I remember, no evidence of this was found, although everyone, in principle, heard everything.
What happened now is a shame. I think it is a shame for our country. In the current political situation, such things cannot be allowed. Especially when we should be united. Nando is a citizen of Russia. And when suddenly this happens, I can’t find any explanation for it, except for the lack of brains in the heads of some people who allow such screams.
It’s a pity for Nando, who is a citizen of our country and defended his honor in the uniform of the national team. And then suddenly unacceptable things happen. Ugliness. And despite the fact that Nando is an older player, he is one of the best in our league in his position. And then there are such screams. Nando was very upset. We calmed him down as much as possible.
The Futsal Super League said that an internal investigation would be organized into the incident and the materials for consideration were transferred to the competent jurisdictional body of the Russian Football Union.
