Representatives of the “boring” Uruguayan defender Gaston Martaren have approached Spartak with a request to pay the commission for his possible transfer. The agents require approximately €2.5 million.
At the same time, for the deal to go through, the “racing” side must coordinate the sale with Uruguayan side Liverpool, which owns 30% of Martaren’s rights. Thus, negotiations between the parties are ongoing, and until the details of the defender’s transfer to the Moscow club are finalized, the legal nuances have not yet been fully agreed upon.
It should be noted that Zenit also claims to be a Uruguayan football player.
