Manchester City announced the signing of the Eintracht striker Omar Marmusha. The transfer amount was 75 million euros. The player signed a contract until the summer of 2029.
Marmus commented on his move to Manchester City:
Signing for Manchester City, one of the best teams in the world, is an incredible feeling. I’m delighted, my family are proud of me and we’re all very excited to be here in Manchester.
Thanks to Pep (Guardiola), his technical staff and the world-class facilities, the players have everything they need to improve. That really appealed to me when I had the chance to come here.
And I can’t deny that I also want to win trophies. City have been the most successful club in England for many, many years, so I know I’m part of a winning environment and a winning culture. I want to learn from the staff and my teammates and become a valuable member of this winning team.
I can’t wait to get to work, meet the other players and show the Manchester City fans what I can do.
Sports director of “citizens” Chicky Bégiristain expressed his joy at the arrival of Marmoosh at the Etihad.
Omar is an experienced and exciting striker and I am delighted that he is joining us.
He had an exceptional season and every time we watched him, he influenced the game.
He has all the qualities a top striker needs. He has exceptional pace and awareness, as well as exceptional ability in front of goal. He can also play in different positions, which is a very valuable asset.
I am also convinced that working with Pep and City’s technical staff will help him continue to develop his excellent attacking talent.
Everyone at Manchester City is delighted to welcome Omar to the club and we all wish him the best during his time here.

Remember that Marmus has been playing for Eintracht Frankfurt since July 2023. This season, the 25-year-old striker has played 26 matches in all competitions, scoring 20 goals and providing 14 assists. The Transfermarkt portal values the Egyptian at 60 million euros.
