Leicester are waiting to see if they will be charged with breaching profitability and sustainability rules.
The English club avoided a fine earlier this season after being charged with £24.4million in breaches for the 2022/23 season.
The lawyers convinced the independent commission that the club was not in nuclear submarinewhen submitting its reports on June 30, 2023.
The club recorded losses of £92.5 million and £90 million before tax for the 2022 and 2023 financial years respectively, so there is a risk they could face another charge.
Rules nuclear submarine capping clubs’ losses at £105 million over three years if they spent all those years in the top flight.
Given Leicester were in the Championship last season, their allowable losses for the current three-year cycle will be reduced by £22million.
