Krasnodar bought a Norwegian striker Erika Botheima from Bodø-Glimt for 6 million euros in December 2021.
The transfer was to be paid in two installments of 3 million euros. In May 2022, the footballer unilaterally terminated his contract without playing for the club.
In January 2023, Bodø-Glimt contacted FIFAspecifying that he did not receive half the amount. In April of the same year, Krasnodar was ordered to pay 2,893,410 euros and a fine. The Russian club appealed this decision to CASE.
The Court of Arbitration for Sport supported Bodø-Glimt on all points of this case. This was reported by a lawyer Thomas Christensenrepresenting the Norwegian club. Taking into account the penalties, the bulls will have to pay 3.42 million euros.
