German coach Jürgen Kloppwho now works as a director of the Red Bull company, has ruled out the possibility of cooperation with Leeds United.
Red Bull is the main sponsor and minority owner of Leeds, and Klopp is rumored to be in charge of the club’s management.
However, BILD reports that Klopp has turned down a direct job at Elland Road. The former Liverpool manager is believed not to want to work with another English club out of respect for the Reds’ fans.
The Red Bull club group also includes Leipzig, Salzburg, Liefering, New York, Paris, Saitama and Bragantino.
