Kazan Sokol must find a new owner within ten days to maintain its professional status. The club’s sports director told this source Ilyas Minnevaliev.
Sokol was again put up for sale on Avito due to the fact that the company that owns the club was facing financial problems. In 2024, the Kazan club was already on the verge of extinction, and then an investor was found thanks to an advertisement on the same Internet platform.
We have 10 days to complete the certification procedure, during which time we must find a new owner. In a year, it will no longer be possible to register, because the club will lose its professional status, which may take years to restore – it will be necessary to start from the amateur level.
Therefore, we hope that in the remaining time there will be a football fan who will be able to buy a ready-made professional club.
The club noted that currently, training is carried out at the personal expense of the team’s employees and players.
Sokol, which plays in Division B of the Second League, is valued at 5.6 million rubles.
