They are more committed to football than hockey. Simply because hockey requires so much. We need skates, we need ammunition, we need ice, we need a platform. It costs more than some kind of wasteland or school grounds. Football is more affordable, let’s say. But which sport is national, and which isn’t, is difficult to judge.
