Yes, football is dying. All in all, we have one stadium – Spartak. There is also one in the park, but it is a municipal arena where cultural events and concerts take place. Spartak was built in the 1960s, track and field athletes train there, and the artificial field is already eight years old. In a good way, we need to build a new stadium, but no one wants it and no one needs it. Other sports are developing: aquatic sports, basketball, clay pigeon shooting and, starting this year, there will be women’s hockey. And football, which attracts the most people, is not developing.
