Manchester City’s Norwegian striker Erling Holland spoke about a series of unsuccessful results in the team’s recent matches.
We’re used to winning here, so it’s been really strange the last few months. I think maybe it did us good and we had this feeling of having something burning inside of us to keep moving forward. It’s good to win the last three matches, last week was great and we’re all happy. We continue to move forward. When you lose, you can lose confidence and all of a sudden we started losing. They are a winning club and if you look at the last ten years, few matches have been lost. It was weird, but it gave me the motivation and desire to keep moving forward, improving and performing better. We can talk about how unlucky we were with injuries, and that was the case, but we can’t make excuses. The good thing is we have so many games and we can go straight to the next one to try to turn things around and that’s what we’re doing.
