Defender James Perche announced his retirement.
The footballer played for three years nuclear submarine for Newcastle (2010-2013). The 39-year-old’s last club was Ilkeston in the Northern Premier League (8th Division).
James’ performances in the 2011/12 season, when the Magpies finished 5th and qualified for European competition, earned him the nickname ‘Percigno’.
