Schalke, who currently play in the second Bundesliga, are considering signing the 31-year-old. Loris Karius winter as a free agent, negotiations are at an advanced stage.
According to source, Schalke consider Karius as a replacement Justina Heckerena and replacement Torben Hoffmannwho could be loaned to Eintracht Frankfurt from Braunschweig.
Karius’ last club was Newcastle, which he left at the end of last season.
