Michelle Kang, who has been a member of Lyon’s board of directors since 2023, has been appointed president and chairman of the club. She will play an active role in supporting the club’s executive leadership, including the club’s chairmanship, with the exclusion of John Textor. He has relinquished his key positions within the team, including the board of directors.
It should be recalled that the French club was fined and downgraded to Ligue 2 due to financial debts.
