The International Federation of Professional Football Players’ Associations (FIFPRO) is calling for an increase in halftime breaks to 20 minutes in extreme heat.
The organization is proposing additional measures to protect players after a “wake-up call” at the Club World Championship, which is taking place in harsh weather conditions.
