Los Angeles has announced the retirement of striker Olivier Giru. The parties have mutually agreed to terminate their partnership. The striker’s final match with the club will be on June 30th with Vancouver Canucks.The 38-year-old joined the club last year. The Frenchman helped the team reach the 2024 League Cup final, scoring one goal. He also scored in the final of the American Open Cup.
Last year, the tournament victory was the first in the club’s history. In the regular season, Major League Soccer (MLS), he scored three goals and four assists in 20 matches.
