One of the owners of Crystal Palace, John Textor, is selling his stake in the club for £190 million. According to a source, he has signed an agreement to sell his stake to investor Woody Johnson. Johnson indicated he could quickly transfer funds. This is believed to have been a deciding factor. Textor was forced to sell his shares because he is also the largest shareholder in French club Lyon, which, like the English club, also qualified for the Europa League. However, UEFA regulations do not allow joint ownership of two teams in a tournament.
