Chelsea recruits Strasbourg defender Mamadou Sarah for an amount of around 20 million euros including bonus. The player will sign a long-term contract with the Blues, and will spend the rest of the season on loan at his current club. Chelsea and Strasbourg belong to the BlueCo consortium.
Remember that Sarr joined the Strasbourg club from Lyon in August 2024. This season, the 19-year-old central defender has played 12 Ligue 1 matches (assist and 2 yellow cards) and one Coupe de France match. The Transfermarkt portal values the Frenchman of Senegalese origin at 8 million euros.
