Head Coach CSKA Fabio Chelestini He commented on his team’s goalless draw in the first round of the Russian Championship against Orenburg.
The Swiss noted that the “army” didn’t make enough effort to win:
We didn’t play well with the ball, we lacked patience in that match. They knew very well that the opponent plays a 3-5-2 formation. We knew we had to play and shake things up, to move from one flank to the other. We always tried to maintain vertical play. In the second half, we started to play a little better, but it wasn’t enough for us to win today. We had to endure and play, which we didn’t do.
In the second round CSKA Akhmat Grozny will accept. The match will take place on July 27.
