Sports Arbitration Court (Ch) rejected the appeal of Moscow “Lokomotiv” and confirmed the decision FIFA On the payment of the Ukrainian “Mariupol” of almost € 50,000 as compensation for the preparation of the defender Mark Mampassi.
Mampassi, a student of Donetsk’s Shakhtar Academy, in 2021 moved to Lokomotiv after a loan spell in Mariupol. The Ukrainian club filed a complaint with FIFA demanding compensation for the training of a football player, with which the International Federation agreed. After Lokomotiv refused to pay compensation, the case was referred to the Sports Arbitration Court, which upheld the FIFA decision. Mampassi, 22, is now on a loan deal with Belgian club Cortrait. His contract with Lokomotiv runs until 2026. Last season, he played 14 matches and scored one goal. The player’s market value is estimated at €700,000.
