Benfica has announced the extension of the contract of central defender and captain Nicholas Otameni. The new agreement will run until June 2026.The footballer moved to Lisbon in 2020 from Manchester City.
Last season, the 2022 World Cup winner played 53 matches for the Argentinian national team in all tournaments, scoring 8 goals.
