January 21, 2025. Benfica – Barcelona – 4:5
Barcelona deserved to lose to Benfica because of stupid mistakes by the defensive line and goalkeeper Szczesny. But the Portuguese gave Lewandowski opportunities, two penalties. Robert equalized with penalty goals in Champions League with Ronaldo. Also saved by Rafinha. The Brazilian scored a curious goal after a goalkeeper clearance. The ball hit the goal from the winger’s head. And in the end there was a counter-attack, which allowed us to achieve victory before the teams fought. Barcelona has a lot of problems in the game and poor results. He lost the lead in La Liga. But in the thick winter rain in Lisbon, Benfica and Barcelona treated spectators to one of the matches that made football the favorite game of billions of people.

Lyon had stars in all lines. Coupe was in goal, Abidal was in defense, Essien and Juninho were in the center, Wiltord, the hat-trick scorer, was closer to the attack and Malouda was on the other flank. Govu played in attack.
October 24, 2000. PSG – Rosenborg – 7:2
The oldest match on the list. For the first time in the history of the main stage of the Champions League, 9 goals were scored. I did it PSG to the sheikhs. It’s safe to say that the Parisians are the weakest winner on the list. Even though striker Anelka was on the field, the line-up was not impressive. I cannot compare with the Lyon foundation that we remembered before. But the skill was enough to confidently defeat Rosenborg. The Norwegians struggled at the end of the first half, but were eventually stopped. Anelka made a double, he recovered in PSG after the failure of Real Madrid.
August 14, 2020. Barcelona – Bayern – 2:8
We move on to the only match with exactly ten goals. The only match on the list played in August. Then the playoffs were postponed because of the pandemic, they played one game at a time. Remember how Hansi Flick, the Bayern coach, destroyed Setien’s Barcelona? Doubles from Muller and Coutinho, goals from Lewandowski and Gnabry blocked Suarez’s attempts to bring the Catalans back into the match. September 17, 2024. Bayern – Dinamo Zagreb – 9:2
This season, they almost repeated the all-time record. Bayern have scored nine goals against Dynamo’s defense this fall. The Zagreb club collapsed under the weight of the attacks which earned Harry Kane a penalty. It’s not about Tottenham, who themselves conceded seven goals against Bayern. In Munich, the Englishman scored four times, three from the penalty spot. Poker was a gift for the striker and the fans were treated to the spectacle. The Croats were beaten, but the Germans soon rejoiced. They later lost to Aston Villa and Barcelona.
November 5, 2003. Monaco – Deportivo – 8:3
Many years in Champions League The most productive match was a duel between two strong teams. Monaco ended up playing the final. Deportivo, despite this defeat, qualified for the playoffs.
