The London Stadium has undergone a £4.35 million upgrade.
Solar panels are installed on the roof, making it one of the most energy-efficient sports venues in the world. The project is expected to save the stadium’s electricity bills up to £350,000 per year.
It’s worth noting that the energy generated by the panels will be enough to power all major events throughout the year, including concerts and matches for West Ham, who have been at the arena since 2013.
