Restructuring the scouting department, making it more efficient, rebuilding the squad that was unbalanced when I arrived, redoing the entire youth system, the second team and bringing players into the first team. It’s basically reformatting the entire sporting sphere of the club from a men’s football perspective.
I also suggested creating a fair salary scale. I felt the need to create it because Russia is a country that pays its players well, but there has to be a structure in the way they do it. A player who joins a club as a key player cannot be paid the same as a regular player in the squad. There should be a salary scale, it’s a project that I created at the club and that made sense to me and the board because they are the ones who put the money and we all want the player to cost as little as possible and to be the best possible.
But we had to start somewhere, and we started by creating a system of levels in the squad, where each player would receive a salary corresponding to his status. Some of them could surprise and later become key players, but the decision had to be made by the club.
