Kazakhstan national team head coach Stanislav Cherchesov held a meeting with the new president of the national football federation Marat Omarov. The Russian specialist informed the source about this.
Today we had our first meeting with Marat Talgatovich, who was elected president KFF at the end of December last year. It lasted about two hours and was very productive. We met, discussed the procedure for interaction, the result of 2024 for the Kazakhstan national team, I outlined in detail the plans and strategy for 2025, taking into account the schedule of the qualifying tournament for the 2026 World Cup, the characteristics of our team and its rivals, as well as the fact that we will again host guests in Astana, where the stadium was rebuilt, and not in Almaty. While I am returning to Moscow, it is time for the January holidays, but we will remain in constant contact with the president of the federation.
Cherchesov also noted that the issue of his possible resignation was not raised at the meeting.
