Georges Zezush Commented on his appointment as head coach of Al-Nasra Saudi Arabia.
The 70-year-old Portuguese admitted that the invitation from the team’s star, Cristiano Ronaldo, was a key factor in his decision: “I really like Saudi Arabia. It’s the country of the future, both in terms of football and everything else. However, without Ronaldo’s invitation, I wouldn’t be here. Cristiano has won everywhere he’s played, but he hasn’t yet succeeded in Saudi Arabia. I hope I can help him in the coming season.”Zezush worked in Saudi Arabia with Al-Khilyal last season, and his team finished second, after which the Portuguese handed the job over to Italian Simone Indzagi. Al-Nasr finished third in the 2024/25 season, although Ronaldo became the tournament’s top scorer with 25 goals.
