New information has emerged regarding Brazilian Palmeiras’ negotiations with Italy’s Roma and Russia’s Zenit regarding the possible sale of midfielder Richard Rios. According to the source, Zenit offered the Colombian national team player twice as much as Roma. While Roma promised Rios €2.2 million per season, the St. Petersburg club was willing to pay €4 million to €5 million.However, the Colombian rejected Zenit’s offer and accepted Roma’s terms. In turn, the Italian club cannot yet agree on the amount of compensation with Palmeiras.
