Zenit have expressed interest in signing central midfielder Flamengo Zherson after the club’s World Cup. The club is also considering the possibility of paying a fee of €25 million for the player. In February of this year, the club had already reached a preliminary agreement on the transfer of Zherson for €29 million. The deal was in the final stages, but the player preferred to continue negotiations on a contract extension with Flavo. As a result, the agreement was extended until 2030.
