Ulyanovsk Volga will spend the 2025/26 season in the Premier League.
The team, who finished on the penalty spot in the second round of the Second League’s Golden Group, defeated Leningradets 3-1 on the road. The Ulyanovsk club finished second, gaining 31 points, and moved into the second most powerful division of Russian football. Earlier, Spartak Kostroma secured a promotion.
Volga returned to the Premier League, from where it will rise in the 2022/23 season.
