Torino midfielder Ivan Ilich Could be in the Russian Premier League.
According to a source, representatives of the 24-year-old offered his services to Spartak and Zenit, but both Russian clubs abandoned the move due to the midfielder’s high injury rate. Torino was even willing to reduce the deal from the original €20 million, which was discussed during previous negotiations in February of this year, to €12 million, as the Italian club was disappointed with Ilich and his frequent injuries. However, an agreement was not reached.
Last season, he played 19 matches in Serie A and scored one goal.
