Slight downgrade, burned bridges
Manchester United acquired Jadon Sancho, Borussia Dortmund’s main asset, who made a difference in Dortmund’s attack. The player cost the Manchester United €85 million, a deal that was among the top 20 most expensive transfers at the time. And after all, the Bumblebees could have gotten away with more than just playing for the Red Devils – it was unfortunate that his contract expired in the summer of 2023.
