The player was treated in February for a cancer relapse. This is the first time a player has been diagnosed with cancer in 2022.
The club shared photos of a midfielder undergoing a medical on social media. He appears alert and positive.
It is not yet clear if the player will be immediately available for selection. Las Palmas President Miguel Angel Ramirez noted:
Kirian started training two weeks ago, as his goal was to be ready for the start of preseason. Today he underwent a medical and, without a doubt, he is our best signing.
The team flew out of La Liga last season.
