Paris NN Head Coach Alexey Spilevsky Commented on signing the contract with the club.
When asked if he thinks the move to Nizhny Novgorod is a step backward in his career, the specialist replied:
I’m a fairly young coach, but I already have some experience, I’ve seen things, I’ve worked at the European Championships. So I know all the pros and cons. The project is important to me, its essence. You can take three steps forward, then move on at the wrong time, in the wrong environment and team, and then go back 10 steps. I have my own path. At this point, I’ve made a decision about moving to Paris NN. And I’m glad he made that choice.
Spilevsky officially took over as head coach of the team on June 16. Previously, the Belarusian specialist spent three years with Arisa Cyprus, with whom he won the championship and the Cyprus Super Cup in 2023.
