Rexham have announced the move of goalkeeper Danny Ward on a free agent basis. Welsh has signed a contract until the end of the 2026/27 season. The 32-year-old goalkeeper has returned to the club, where he played at youth level before joining Liverpool in 2012. Rexham is owned by Hollywood actors Ryan Reynolds and Rob Macalhenni, who previously joined the Championship.
