The outcome of the case of Torpedo management’s attempt to bribe referees is likely to result in the exclusion of Moscow Club from the Russian Premier League (RPL) for the 2025/26 season. It should be recalled that in June, Torpedo co-owner Leonid Sobolev and club general Valery Skoroduv were arrested. They are accused of attempting to bribe referees. Consider the torpedo case on Thursday, July 10. Earlier reports suggested that the club would be dissolved in the event of an exception from the Russian Premier League RPL . Orenburg finished second to last in the league last season and has since risen to the Premier League.
The new Russian Premier League season begins on July 18.
