Judge Bogdan Golovko, who was placed under house arrest in connection with a contractual match involving Torpedo and Kamaz, could be imprisoned for up to seven years.The referee was charged under Article 184 of the Russian Federation (Unlawful Influence on the Result of an Official Sports Competition or Spectacular Commercial Competition).
It was preliminarily established that Torpedo’s management, through an intermediary, transferred Golovko one and a half million rubles for aiding the victory over Kamaz. The match ended 1:1.
