Benfica President Rui Coshta confirmed that the club is negotiating with Real Madrid regarding left-back Alvaro Carreras.
Carreras will participate in the Club World Cup with our team; he is still a Benfica player. We have not yet reached an agreement with Real Madrid regarding his transfer, as the offers made did not suit us.
