The International Football Federation announced that as of June 17, approximately 1.5 million tickets for World Cup matches had been sold.
The first eight matches of the tournament attracted over 340,000 spectators. Fans from over 130 countries purchased tickets.
The opening match between Egypt’s Al-Ahli and Inter Miami, held at the Hard Rock Stadium in Florida, attracted 60,927 spectators. The following day, the match between PSG and Atletico Madrid in Los Angeles attracted 80,619 spectators, marking the highest attendance for both clubs for the 2024/25 season. The leaders in ticket sales are fans of the host country – the United States. Then there are football fans from Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, Canada, France, Japan, Germany, Great Britain, and Portugal.
