Santos plans to extend its contract with striker Neymar.
According to the source, the club intends to extend the contract before the weekend so that the 33-year-old can begin training immediately after returning from vacation next week.
Santos President Marcelo Teishera:
We are communicating with Neymar’s entourage. We are moving forward, making great progress in negotiations, and are very close to a new agreement that will allow him to stay.
